why is it that when we pen our birds at club level i.e.the federation or the national that white birds have top pens and all colored birds are below i feel that the colored birds should have top cages so they can present them selfs to the full and in the light were the colours can be seen if the cages where placed in one line then that would be a fair way but as we know this is not possible and at the end of the day its only historical, that whites have always had top row. have spoken with sec; of the fed; and he has no problem, just means moving the class around on paper what do the members think???

should definitely give the best light to the colours as the whites will hold their own in the dimmer conditions anyway. unfortunately this won't happen as this is the way its alway been and heaven forbid we could change it!!

Have spoken to Adrien and he assures me that the colored birds will be in top pens ?if we don't say are piece nothing will ever get done thats what this forum is all about having your say?with out your input the club would be still in the 19th century, the caging arangment is just one of many things we can try, its a fair way to do it and can be changed each year, an other is we could have are own egg show, but we need you out there to have your say .
