If you need any information on colours or standards about the leghorn breed, this is the place to be. With nearly 200 pictures and 20 articles there is plenty to see and learn, including articles from Australia. If you need any more information then this Forum provides the means to discuss any topic with the experts. To go directly to the website and the pictures click on www.theleghornclub.com

I am in the process of getting some black leghorns and hope to have them soon. I First came across this site about 12 months ago, and i would just like to say what a fantastic transformation. The text on breeding is so informative i can take it all in , i also didn't know there were so many colours. Seriously well done! Allanp

Hi, i sent for some eggs over ebay for blue large fowl. What i got was 3 white and 3 cream eggs. A blue pullet a lavender pullet and cockerel were the result. At 14 weeks i lost the lavender pullet. I went one day and she was dead she was heavy and was looking in fine form. The other 2 are about 20 weeks not sure just how good they are yet but i know a guy who judges and hopefully he will keep me right. With regards to other colors i might try to source some eggs next year tho what color I'm not sure right now. Allanp

sorry to here you lost the the pullet, this is one of the resons why we ask people to join the club, if you were a member we would be able to put you in touch with some one close to you or at lest point you in the right direction one of the things i have surgested is that people photo there birds and send them on its easyer than waiting for some one to come around and look at them and you would be getting expert advise plus if you want to sell birds its better for the buyer to see what he is getting,
